Every time someone visits our web site using your URL and makes a purchase, you'll get the commission from that sale. The more products you sell by referring our web site, the more commissions you will earn. You'll receive 25% commissions on sales made directly through your affiliate URL and 5% on sales made by your sub affiliates.

How does the Two-Tier Affiliate Program work?
You earn first-level commissions (25%) on every sale generated through your unique Affiliate link. You can also sign up Sub-Affiliates and earn an override commission (5%) on every sale that they make. The sales made by your Sub-Affiliates is your second-level commissions.

For example, you sign up as an Affiliate. You refer John to the site through your Affiliate URL and John makes a purchase. You get the first-level commission (25%) on this sale. Later, you refer Sue to the site through your Affiliate URL and she also becomes an Affiliate. Sue then refers another customer to the site through her Affiliate URL. Sue would get the first-level commission (25%), and you would get the second-level commission (5%) since Sue  signed up as a new Affiliate through you.

How much are the commissions?
We pay a generous 25% commission on the first-level sales (all the sales resulting from your affiliate link), and 5% commission on the second-level sales (all the sales made by your sub-affiliate links).

What if the customer returns to the web site to make a purchase later?
If the customer came to our web site through your Affiliate link, you will get credit for any sales made up to one year! 

This is made possible by using "cookies" - small data files stored by the user's web browser which "marks" that person as your referral. When your referral visits our web site through your Affiliate link, our domain will send their web browser a cookie to store this Affiliate tracking information. When the prospect becomes a customer and makes a purchase, the system then checks for the Affiliate cookie. If the cookie is there, the Affiliate gets credit for the sale made.

Are "cookies" really safe?
YES. Most if not all e-commerce sites use cookies. The only way an Affiliate might miss a commission is if the customer deletes their cookie files (pretty rare) before coming to the order form, places the order from a different computer AND not using your Affiliate URL (again rare), or if the cookie expires (one year)

Another way is that the original cookie gets overwritten by another Affiliate. This happens only if the customer came back to our web site through another Affiliate's URL (the last referring affiliate will get credit for the sale) We feel this is the fairest way as the last referring affiliate may be have been paying for advertising, how would you feel if that were you paying for the advertising and the original referring affiliate received credit for the sale?

Please note that once your referral makes a purchase your cookie will not be overwritten. They will be your customer for up to one year (depending on when the cookie was originally set)

Will I receive commissions on my own orders?
No. While Success Strategies Int. receives the same percentage of the sale either way, we feel that it would unfair to the affiliate who referred you as it would dilute their commission, just as it would be if someone signed up as an affiliate through your link first and then placed the order through their own affiliate link.

Using the affiliate program as a way of getting reprint licenses at a discount would also upset previous licensees and force us to lower commissions which would not benefit those affiliates that are working the program.

How do I add a link on my web site?
You can add a simple text link or add one of our custom banner ads to your web site. When someone clicks on the link or banner ad, they will go to our web site through your Affiliate URL. We provide easy-to-use instructions to copy the simple HTML Code required for your web site, when you login to your Affiliate account. Can I use my Affiliate link in email messages?
YES. You can add your Affiliate URL in your email messages or promote it in your ezine using the Affiliate URL. Please read the Terms of Agreement concerning spam. 

What is Spam?
Spam is the Internet's term for UCE (Unsolicited Commercial Email) This is a very sensitive issue and web sites have been shut down by their ISP's because of it. Do not let this happen to us. Please use good judgment and if in doubt, don't do it.

One affiliate program's website was shut down when a single affiliate placed an ad in the "Wrong" ezine. This just may have been a case of a  subscriber that "forgot" they subscribed and reported the ezine and every URL in the ezine is presumed guilty until proven innocent. Or, it may have been that the publisher used FFA's to build their list and the person didn't know that they had been "subscribed" In any case be very careful or everyone suffers.

What if I don't have a web site?
If you don't have a web site, you can still join our Affiliate Program. You can promote your Affiliate URL in your emails! (See FAQ regarding Spam above) Or, just upload your "Magnetic Sales Letters" eBook to some free webspace and use the link to download the eBook (freewebspace.com/magnetic.exe)

Can I track my monthly commissions online?
YES. One of the powerful features of our Affiliate Program is the ability to view real-time sales tracking. At any time when you login, you can check your first-level AND second-level commissions. You can also see how many clicks your URL(s) are generating.

When do I get paid?
We generate our commission reports on the 1st of every month for all the previous calendar month's sales made through your Affiliate URL (and returning customers that originated from your URL). We actually mail the commission checks no later than the 5th of every month.

Is there a minimum monthly payout?
NO. Many other Affiliate programs require that you accumulate a large volume of commissions before they will send your commission check. Since you only get paid commissions based on the sales from your referrals, we do not believe you should wait extended periods of time to get paid, nor be penalized for only creating one or two sales. Therefore, we pay EVERY Affiliate who is due commissions EVERY MONTH!
